On the 15th of June, for the first time I sang a few opera songs in front of a small audience. It was part of my singing teacher's annual concert, where most of her students usually sing.
I sang the following:
- La Calunnia from The Barber of Seville, a solo by Rossini.
- La Ci Darem La Mano from Don Giovanni, a duet by Mozart.
- Bei Mannern from The Magic Flute, a duet by Mozart.
It is wonderful for me to be able to sing such masterpieces. Of course I made some mistakes especially in La Calunnia, but anyway it is a dream come true. And many people said that I made a lot of progress since last year when I just sang regular songs.
I would like to thank first my great teacher Nell! And I would also like to thank Nelly and Marine who beautifully sang the Mozart duets with me, and who still want to sing other great songs with me!
