I will give a presentation about Git at the LinuxTag conference in Berlin on May the 10th. LinuxTag claims to be Europe's largest exhibition for "open source software". Around 10 thousands people are visiting it each year.

I am very happy to be back in Berlin this year. I will be there from the 8th to the 11th of May. Last year I first came to Berlin for the git merge conference at the same time of the year.

My presentation will be 'New Views on your Source Code History with "git replace"'. The short summary is:

Git has become the most popular version control system in the Open Source world, and more and more companies are also using it. To better take advantage of the source code history stored using Git, it can be useful to transform this history using git replace.
